Personal style:

rock n' roll meets classic, comfortable, edgy, colorful, flavorful melange

Styling Experience:

I'm a fashion designer with 15 years industry experience. I have a good eye for color and can spot a future trend rather quickly. I helped style seasonal photo shoots, so I am very comfortable shopping the market, being around models, and the rush of getting an outfit together that works well and fast. I enjoy styling friends and do personal shopping for people as well.

Q & A with elizabeth evertsz

Who is your personal style icon? (name up to three)

There are too many awesome style icons(famous and not) out there to only name 3. I look up to all women (and men) who are confident in themselves and that to me is style.

What one item in your wardrobe could you never live without, and why?

It's a tie between dark indigo skinny jeans and black leggings simply because they are comfortable, they go with everything, and you can dress either of them up or down. They are a great anchor to just about any shoe, top, and accessory.

What's been your biggest investment piece thus far? What is one investment piece you hope to one day call your own?

My biggest investment thus far is a red leather perforated crossover bag I purchased in Florence, Italy. Every time I use it I am reminded of the amazing time I spent there. The one investment piece I hope to call my own one day would be absolutely anything by Vivienne Westwood.

What is your universal style tip (something every woman can benefit from)?

Comfort, comfort, comfort! With that under your belt, you can carry any style with confidence.

Where can we find you on a Saturday afternoon?

It depends on the Saturday... anywhere from lounging around at home to out at brunch or a food festival of some kind; followed by strolls around NYC taking pictures and people watching.
